Picher, OK documents the town of Picher, which is one of the largest Environmental Protection Agency Superfund sites in the country. Due to many years of mining, Picher has undergone extreme environmental degradation. These photographs were made in 2008, shortly before the town was nearly completely demolished by a tornado.
